Appirits announced ‘Adventure with Beowulf’ in Einherjar world
Beowulf is the oldest poetic work in English litereture on which many films and games have used to develop contents. And Appirits, the game producer of Einherjar – The Viking’s Blood, a turn-based web game, recently announced a new in-game event based on the image of this Geatish hero called “Adventure with Beowulf” from 16 to 23 January 2013 (GMT+8).

During the event’s period, Beowulf, the hero who is compared to another great hero Sigmund in Norse myths, will be ready to be summoned at the square. He will bear the blood of Schwertleite and has the skills of Shield II, Lightning Attack (unable to inherit). With strong stats, this hero will bring a lot of benefits to players on battlefields. So players are recommended to recruit him for their Viking force. Besides, 2 new materials called Hrunting Blade and Hrunting Hilt will be created and scattered at the following maps: The mountains of fog giant, Black forest, Myrkvior, Muspelheim. Players then are required to collect them through expeditionary battles and complete a new quest in Hedeby city to obtain the powerful Hrunting Sword for their Beowulf.
